IPP | TEPCO accepts Saudi Electric’s request for cooperation

The Tokyo Electric Power Company will pursue mutual exchange and cooperation with Saudi Electric Company in the field of electricity business.

Tokyo Electric Power Company, Incorporated Memorandum of Understanding Saudi Electricity Company results from the latter’s request for continuous exchanges based on the technical cooperation called the "Master Plan Study for Energy Efficiency in Saudi Arabia," entrusted to TEPCO from February 2007 to March 2009 by the Japan International Cooperation Agency.

The two companies will carry out mutual exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as stable supply of electricity in generation and distribution sectors, promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energy as well as exchanges of information through periodical visits to each other.

TEPCO hopes that developing the relationship of the two companies will hopefully lead to future cooperation projects in Saudi Arabia.
